Well we woke to around 2 inches of snow--*blech*--but it is winter time so I suppose it is to be expected, but that doesn't mean I have to like it--LOL--This morning as I look out my window the snow was falling, the ground was covered and snow was hanging to the trees it look so clean outside--so fresh and new--I began to reflect and think about sin and forgivness--
When we are living in sin its kinda like winter time to me--cold, barren, nothing but dirt--its ugly--nothing pretty about it--then the Lord comes along when we hearken his call--he scoops us up, wipes us off, makes us as white as the fresh fallen snow--all that ugliness and dirt is gone--its all nice and fresh and clean--how wonderful--we are no longer bound by sin, but free by his grace--
So while I do not like the cold snow that this time of year brings--I equally do not like being bound by sin--I am blessed to serve a risen savior, that cared enough about me to dust me off, clean me up and free me by his wonderful grace--What a wonderful God we serve!
::Until Next Time::
